Meet Us

Lindakay Rees, MD, FAAP

I Love what I do.  I am so thankful to be a pediatrician.  As a medical student you rotate through all the medical specialties.  When I got to pediatrics, I knew I was home, and I never looked back.
As a founding member of Beach Pediatrics, I consider it a privilege to work with our patients and their families.  Being allowed to be an integral part of your lives is an honor which I do not take lightly.  I want my patients and their parents to know that they are loved unconditionally and each and everyone of you is valued.
My main hobby is volunteer work.  I have been fortunate to serve once or twice a year as a doctor with various relief organizations over the past years.  Currently I am chairman of the board of CERT International, a Christian relief organization that only serves in areas where no other groups serve.  I have found that all over this world of ours, parents love their children and want the very best for them.  I am so blessed to have a part in that process.
When you are lucky enough to work with children it is almost impossible to have a bad day.  I am delighted to welcome you to our practice.

Patricia Stephens, MD, FAAP

Patricia Stephens, MD, FAAP is a founding member of Beach Pediatrics. She lived in North Carolina and Georgia during her elementary and high school years; graduated from Baylor University with a BS in Biology; received her MD at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Tx; began her pediatric residency at University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City and completed  her residency at UCI in California. At that time,  she commenced her pediatric practice in Huntington Beach. In addition, she has been privileged to participate from time to time in short mission trips in India and the Congo. Dr. Stephens is married and has two children. Her hobbies include riding horses, traveling, and going to movies with family and friends.

” I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for children from the time they are born; watching them grow and develop into young adults; preventing undesirable illnesses; and diagnosing and aiding in the cure of occasional potentially devastating diseases. It is awesome to see these little personalities as they develop  from the moment they are born. I view  babies and children as amazing miracles in our world. They are treasures of the highest value. And I am honored and privileged to participate in their care.”

Ann Ha, MD, FAAP

Thank you for allowing me to share a little about myself. I was born in Vietnam but grew up right here in Huntington Beach. I briefly left the area to attend college at Stanford University, graduating with Honors. After attending medical school at UCSD, I went to Harbor-UCLA for residency and served as Chief Resident. I moved back in 2012 to live my dream of becoming a Pediatrician in the very community I have always called home.

Those who know me well understand that I have two big passions in life: my kids and my patients. I know as a Pediatrician, parents are entrusting the most valuable thing in their world to me. That’s why I believe in partnering with every parent to provide high quality care focused on a child’s physical and mental well-being. And as a mother, I know all too well emergencies can occur not just during business hours but sometimes in the middle of the night! Parents should always have a source for support when those emergencies occur. That is why I feel fortunate to have partners at Beach Pediatrics that share my philosophy of commitment to you and your child.

In my free time, you can find me struggling to help complete school projects for my young kids, while trying to learn this miserable game called golf.  The things we do for our husband! I look forward to meeting your precious child and being given the opportunity to play a part in their growth.

Rozita Pouroushasb, MD, FAAP

(“Dr. Rozi”) is our newest member joining Beach Pediatrics in 2016. She graduated Cum Laude, earning her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California Berkeley. She went on to earn her medical degree from the University of California Davis and completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Rozi places an emphasis on preventive medicine – she believes that proper care should begin at a young age. Her focus is to create a partnership with each family to guide the healthy growth and care of each child. This has been her core focus and reason she chose Pediatric medicine – to help young people before preventable issues arise by properly educating both the patient and their families.

Dr. Rozi has also traveled internationally to underserved areas to provide medical care. She is fluent in Farsi and speaks medical Spanish. She also enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family and friends and her hobbies include traveling, hiking, spending time outdoors and trying new cuisines

Megan Rahman, DO, FAAP

Dr. Rahman, pronounced “Ray-man”, is proud to have grown up in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach. She left to receive her bachelor’s degree in biology at Azusa Pacific University. She then received her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her pediatric residency training at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. She is thrilled to return to her hometown to join an excellent team of pediatricians at Beach Pediatrics. She speaks English and intermediate Spanish.

As your pediatrician, it is a joy for Dr. Rahman to serve children and their families. She strongly believes that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and grow. As a pediatrician, she is passionate about helping children young and old become their healthiest selves, physically and mentally. Dr. Rahman is committed to working with families to develop healthy habits and lifestyles that will promote the long-term well-being of their children. Whether annual checkups, common colds, or health concerns that come up when least expected, Dr. Rahman is committed to supporting families in the care of their children.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Rahman enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, paddleboarding, and traveling.
